Awful
I hate the new update. You simply destroyed a game that was great.
Has potential, but too random...
The base mechanic is a neat puzzler, but the random unexplained obstacles, block spawning and common mis-swipes get in the way of planning out the board and hitting high scores.
Very well done, but ultimately boring
Cute, well done game but it lacks gameplay diversity and gets boring after 10-15 minutes. Its similar to 3 Towns (or what its called, with the Yeti) in how you basically fight entropy and the entropy build-up rate is your difficulty level. Theres not much skill involved and the game offers little diversity in terms of rewards, so it gets pretty monotonous after a while. It needs something extra to be truly engaging.
(edit) Oh, and it just showed me a pop-up ad. Sorry, thats an instant 1 star for a paid app (but Ill keep the rating at 4, since you just launched).
Not all that fun
I usually love these type of games so I thought Id give it a try without any reviews.
The gameplay is simply like triple town or gems with friends but they claim its unique because they add that you slide and increase the number. Not all that original, actually.
At first it was challenging because they strategically place random pieces and the annoying guys stand in your way. But all the fun was removed when I realized if you just take every number to 10, the game gets much, much easier.
And this day & age I have no clue why theres not levels to beat or anything. It adds so much more replayability. This is just a high score game.
Love the game, but...
Pros:
- The game is addictive and the characters are adorable and interactive.
- The bird soundtrack is very nice, as is the sound effects and character voices.
- Game play is tough enough to make you think about your options, but not so tough you want to quit playing
Cons:
- Seems to be a massive battery drain. I can go all day long on this iPhone, calls, texts, FaceTime, web surfing, Temple Runner games, etc…. and be at 80% battery life when I plug it in at night around 11pm, but since I’ve installed Who’s Mining? my phone dies by 6pm.
- Ads? I paid for this game, why am I getting hit with ads for your other games? I had to go to the app store and download the other game to get the pop up to go away.
- Game doesn’t always recognize that I lost. I filled all available spaces with tiles and had no more moves but the game didn’t bring up the menu to tally my score.
- A volume on the soundtrack and sound effects would be a big bonus.
